 Tareq Samin

Tareq Samin is a Bangladeshi bilingual Writer and Editor of the bilingual literary journal Sahitto. He is author of seven books, including four poetry collections, two Short Stories collections and a Novel. Also he has translated into Bengali, two books of Anthology of International poetry of 22 poets from 20 countries. In total he has nine books published. Some of his poems are translated in English, Spanish, Chinese, German, French, Greek, Italian, Russian, Turkish, Swedish, Finnish, Hebrew, Arabic, Vietnamese, Hindi, Nepalese, Portuguese, Estonian, Slovak, Romanian, Macedonian and Hungarian Languages. His poems, short Stories and articles are published in more than 25 countries.

 

Tareq Samin received the ‘International Best Poets Award-2020’ from The International Poetry Translation And Research Centre (IPTRC), China and the Greek Academy of Arts and Writing. Also he has been awarded ‘Honorable Mention’ in Foreign Language Authors category for his poem ‘Another Try’ in ‘The prize il Meleto di Guido Gozzano Agliè’ poetry competition held in 12 September 2020 in Turin, Italy. Also he is a nominated guest writer in Geneva, Switzerland.

 

Also Tareq Samin is a Martin-Roth-Initiative Scholarship Alumni. The Martin Roth-Initiative is a joint program of ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen) and the Goethe-Institut, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office. The Martin Roth-Initiative Scholarship is for artists who are dedicated to the freedom of the arts, democracy and human rights.

 

He is an important voice in the literary world working against violence and extremism and in favor of human rights, peace and free speech. Nature, Love and Humanism are central to his work.

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Tzemin Ition Tsai

Prof. Tzemin Ition Tsai, PhD. come from Taiwan (Republish of China). He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and M.S. degree in Applied Mathematics.

He is a scholar with a wide range of expertise, while maintaining a common and positive interest in science, engineering and literature member. As a professor and freelance writer. Dr. Tsai is not just an accomplished poet, he is an essayist, novelist, columnist, editor, translator, academic, engineer, mathematician, and so many other things. His literary creation specializes and expertise in the description of nature, the anatomy of emotion and humanity, life writing, graphic writing, cross-domain writing and so on.

 

He has carried out a number of educational research with the development of teaching materials in his country. He has won many national literary awards. In addition to his own country, his literary works have been anthologized and published in books, journals, and newspapers in more than 40 countries and have been translated into more than twenty languages.

 

Dr. Tzemin Ition Tsai is a full professor at Asia University(Taiwan), main editor of “Reading, Writing and Teaching” academic text, cultural ambassadors of Greater China of Inner Child Press International (USA), International editor of "Contemporary dialogues" literary periodical in Macedonia, etc. He also writes the long-term columns for Chinese Language Monthly in Taiwan. Many famous poets of the world through his Chinese translations and introductions were able to be recognized by the people of Taiwan.

Dr. Sayeem Rana

Sayeem popularly known as Sayeem Rana (born 1 March 1975) is a Bangladeshi singer, composer, music director, poet and professor. He won Bangladesh National Film Awards in best music director category for the film Nekabborer Mohaproyan in 2014.[1] and Prothom Alo Best Book Award 1416. He is the assistant professor at the Department of Music of Dhaka University.

 

Rana was born on 1 March 1975 at the village of Jugia Dargah Para in Kushtia District of Bangladesh to Abdus Sobhan and Amina Khatun.[2] He graduated in June 1996 and obtained his post-graduate degree in January 1997 in Islamic studies from Dhaka University.[2] In January 2009, he earned his PhD degree on the title Mass Music of Bangladesh: Subject and Tune Variation from the same university in the department of theatre and music.

 

Career:

Rana joined the Department of Film and Media of Stamford University Bangladesh as a part-time lecturer in 2010.[2] In 2015, he joined University of Dhaka as a lecturer at the Department of Music under the Faculty of Arts.

 

 

 

 

Amita Sanghavi

AMITA SANGHAVI, MA (Lancaster University, UK), Mphil. ( English Language and Literature), MA ( English Literature) BA ( English Literature) B.Ed (specialized in teaching English and History). She has chosen and honored, World Poetry Canada Ambassador to Oman. She is now the Representative to Oman as pronounced by The Art Movement, 'Immage & Poesia' Italy. Also she works a Lecturer in English Language department in

Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, Oman. She won the international poetry contest, savona Italy for her poem ‘daily self-reminder’. A set of her 12 poems is taught at the BA and MA level English literature course at the Akaki Tsereteli state university, Georgia

 

 

Anjuman Rosy

ANJUMAN ROSY, since she was young, her family environment has allowed her to love poetry. She followed in the footsteps of her late father Abdul Matin Prodhan, who had a strong love for poetry and literature. He was a student of English literature at Karachi University. Inspired by her father, Anjuman Rosy entered and won various poetry competitions. She studied Bengali literature at Dhaka University. At that time she was very close with her professor Noren Bissash. She not only gained assistance in many of her poetry recitation performances from him, but also acquired valuable knowledge. Later on, Anjuman Rosy was admitted into a recitation organization "Konthoshilon" to better improve her performance skills. During that time she met Wahidul Hoque sir and Biplob Bala who taught her proper pronunciation and rhythm of poetry. She regularly recitated in Shilpokola Academy, Bishoshahitto Kendro, British Council, and Bangladesh TV (BTV). At the moment she is living in Canada with her two kids. Anjuman Rosy has actively participated in various cultural activities in the Bengali community and even during busy times she is continuously writing. So far she has published five books of poetry, two book of short stories, one book of prose and one memoir book. Writing is her passion. At the present time her writing is mostly about women rights and other social activities.
