मेरो मुख तिमीले समातिरहेका छौ।
मलाई विश्वास छ तिमी सधै मेरो मुखमा छौ
जहाँ युद्ध छैन न कुनै प्लेग छ
कुनै विषालु तीर धमकीपूर्वक गोली हानिएको छैन
कुनै अफवाह, कुनै जाल, कुनै छल छैन।
जहाँ तिमी हिंडिरहेछौ त्यहा कुनै काॅढा छैन
सबै क्रोधित तूफानहरूको बिरूद्धमा म पर्खाल खडा गर्नेछु।
तिमी विस्तारै आफ्नो काँधलाई धक्का देऊ
तिम्रो छाती, तिम्रा औंला मेरो गालाहरू विरूद्ध
गफिदै र चुपचाप गाउँदै
तिमी निर्दोषतापूर्वक मेरो जिब्रो र दाँतहरूलाई आफ्नो शरीरमा छुन देऊ
मेरो मुखमा सुरक्षित।
म चन्द्रमाको बत्तीले सजिएको माछा हुँ
र मेरो स्कूल छोडेर म समयको समुद्रमा पौडिन्छु।
Holding You in My Mouth
I always believe you are in my mouth
Where there is no war, no plague
No poisonous arrow furtively shot
No rumours, no traps, no deception
Where you tread has no sharp thorns
And I will raise up a wall against all raging storms
You gently push your shoulders,
Your chest, your toes against my cheeks
Talkative and silently singing
You innocently let my tongue and teeth touch your body
Secure in my mouth
I am a fish overfilled with moonlight
And leaving my school I leap into the sea in movements.

Luôn tin có em trong miệng anh
Nơi không chiến tranh, dịch hạch
Mũi tên bắn lén tẩm độc
Thị phi, cạm bẫy, lọc lừa
Lối em đi không còn gai nhọn
Bão tràn qua anh dựng tường ngăn
Bình yên trong miệng anh
Em thúc nhẹ bờ vai
Vòm ngực, ngón chân vào má
Huyên thuyên và hát thầm
Hồn nhiên cho lưỡi và răng anh chạm vào cơ thể
Anh là con cá miệng giàn giụa trăng
Rời bỏ bầy đàn quẫy vào biển động.

Krishna Prasai (sinh năm 1960) là một nhà thơ, nhà văn viết truyện ngắn. Ông có 9 cuốn sách, bao gồm các tập thơ Aanuvuti ka chaal haru (tạm dịch: Làn sóng trải nghiệm) và Gham ko bara (tạm dịch: Tắm nắng). Thơ của ông được dịch sang nhiều ngôn ngữ. Hiện ông là biên tập viên của tuyển tập thơ Nepal đương đại.
Poet Krishna Prasai (Republic of Nepal) has just sent me a bunch of poems selected by himself from my poetry book “The Selected Poems of Mai Văn Phấn” (Publishing House of The Vietnam Writer’s Association, 2015) in English version by Poet – Translator Nhat-Lang Le and Poet Susan Blanshard to be translated into Nepalese. I would like to give my respectful thanks to Poet Krishna Prasai for having spent time and devotion on the translation for my bunch of poems.
Krishna Prasai (b. 1960) is a poet and short story writer. He has to his credit 9 books including poetry collections Aanuvuti ka chaal haru (The Waves of Experiences), and Gham ko barsa (Sun-Shower). His poems are widely translated in different languages. Three languages at a time have already published with other nine literary books. He is also the editor of an anthology of contemporary Nepali poetry.
