maivanphan.com: Poet Fethi Sassi (Tunisia) has just sent me the 10 three-line poems selected by himself from my poetry book “The Selected Poems of Mai Văn Phấn” (Publishing House of The Vietnam Writer’s Association, 2015) in English version by Poet Nhat-Lang Le & Poet Susan Blanshard to be translated into Tunisia. I would like to give my respectful thanks to Poet Fethi Sassi for having spent time and devotion on the translation for my bunch of poems!
Poet Fethi Sassi born on the 1st of June 1962 in Nabeul, Tunisia. A writer of prose poetry and short poems. He participated in several national literary meetings. A member in the Tunisian Writers' Union. And member in the Literature Club at the cultural center of Sousse. His first book of poetry entitled "A Seed of Love" was published in the year 2010. The second entitled “I dream… And i sign on birds the last word" on 2013. The third book of poetry “a sky for a strange bird “ in Egypt. And a short poem book entitled “All the universe is only the face of my beloved” still in press.
الوصول إلى سفح جبل " يان تو "
مع الضّباب الذي يحوم في كلّ
الأماكن .....
أبحث عن أحد
يدلّني عن طريق الجنّة
روح
اللّوتس ....
وحين لا يكون أحد قربه
يزهر
في الضّباب
أصوات النّواقيس الخشبيّة
تجعل النّهر يتدفّق
أكثر ....
داخل ناقوس كبير
نحلة ...
تطير إلى فوق
ومرّة أخرى إلى أسفل
بحر صامت
قارب يتّجه إلى البحر
أحيانا يتأرجح ....
هكذا تفعل الأمواج

Arriving at the Foot of Mount Yên Tử
With fog hovering all over the place
I search for someone
To ask for a way to heaven
Spirit of Zen
A lotus
When nobody is around
Blooms
In the Fog
The sounds of a wooden bell
Make the river
Flow faster
Inside a Large Bell
A bee flies
To the top
Then again to the bottom
Silent Sea
A ship heads to the open sea
Sometimes swaying
Like there are waves

Sương giăng mù mịt
Tìm người
Hỏi đường lên trời
Lòng thiền
Bông sen
Vắng người
Nở
Trong sương mù
Tiếng mõ
Dòng sông chảy
Nhanh hơn
Trong lòng quả chuông lớn
Con ong bay
Lên đỉnh
Lại xuống đáy
Biển lặng
Con thuyền ra khơi
Thi thoảng chao lắc
Như có sóng
