SILENCE
Chacun m'apprend à me souvenir
à oublier
Je suis transparent
Je pars
tenant dans ma main
une fleur.
4.
Une table à quatre pieds
un plateau
Sur les vagues
le sol ne cède pas
elle vole comme le brouillard
la lumière est nuage
brouissante comme les feuilles
Mes yeux clos
L'enseignant
me donne deux points ... dix points ...
même un zéro
sur ma tête.
5.
6.
Un fruit noir
haut dans le ciel
où les lotus
et les chrysanthèmes fleurissent
Mes cheveux et mes épaules ont blanchi
ma tige
a jauni
nomme mon dessin.
8.
Appels de l’oiseau,
rêves,
des gouttes de pluie tombent verticales
Une voix, tristesse, baisers ...
horizontales
Aux intersections
des éclats de lumière
montrent le chemin parfois
aveuglent d'autres fois
Je m'installe
traçant d’autres lignes.
9.
J'ouvre mes chakras*
14.
_________
* Une position assise jambes
15.
Un oiseau noir pique
toit noir
terre noire
lumière incolore
Tout est blanc
comme le lait.
Je brûle comme un tronc d'arbre
creusé par des insectes
l’oiseau est blessé
sol ébranlé
végétation empoisonnée
Je rassemble la lumière
amasse des larmes
pour penser les blessures
Tout est blanc
comme le lait.
16.
Je suis zazen près d'une fleur
tous les parfums
près du sol
Le ciel tourne sur ma tête
je suis l’obstacle
Tout pousse autour de moi
je vieillis
Une fleur au milieu
érection d'un poteau de verre
marque l’aujourd'hui
maintenant
Passé
avenir
regardez-vous
Fleur, lèvres de Bouddha.
17.
Une énorme goutte d'eau
dans un puits profond
Concerto N°. 1 en ré mineur de J.S. Bach
tombe dans le puits
petites gouttes d'eau
porteuses d’un feu vert
Le vert des semis de riz
graines
bourgeons de banane
champ, jeune mûrier
C'est la saison de la chlorophylle
née de gouttes d'eau
œufs verts
Gonflement
débordement du sol.
18.
À travers la bougie
dans un autre monde
Les yeux ouverts
dans l'ombre d'un mur
Je suis à la croisée des chemins
nombreux systèmes de référence
beaucoup d'âmes animent
inanimé
sans nom
La conscience est remplie de sons
de couleurs
Plus libre
est-on en toutes choses.
19.
La lumière
fend le tronc d'arbre
Jaune d'un côté
pourpre de l'autre
Écorce lisse d'un côté
rugueuse de l'autre
La sève est
blanche
harmonieux
Oiseau gris
deux bandes blanches sur ses joues
une tache noire du plastron au menton
Je dessine l'oiseau
et la couleur, patiemment
Pas comme ça !
pas comme ça !
Je reste assis ici
regardant le vol des oiseaux
et leurs couleurs.
27.
Je me fonds dans l'obscurité
seules mes mains sont lumineuses
Mes paumes
_________
* Du grec
ancien Aγλαΐα, Aglaḯa (« la Splendide »).
34.
Une nouvelle journée sur la côte
les vagues ont reculé
laissant la dalle de pierre lisse
Quelqu'un est arrivé
s’y est assis
fèces d'oiseaux
la poussière s’y dépose
La nuit
l'eau remonte
Patience
de la mer
années après années.
35.
Le vent avant de disparaitre
m'a emprisonné ici
36.
Je suis une babiole
Faite de barres métalliques
pliées et attachées
avec du papier accroché sur ma tête
Juste par amour
ou colère
l'enssemble a été plié
Hier soir dans un rêve
la babiole
a grandi vite
le bourgeon est devenu feuille.
37.
je me faufile
Brun foncé
bleu
orange
blanc délicat
rouge bordeaux ...
De toutes les couleurs
c’est plus que suffisant
pour toute une vie
je marche
tenant un verre d’eau
ma seule préoccupation
est de vivre chaque instant.
38.
Je suis végétation
lumière de ma vie antérieure
dessinée sur une toile blanche
Mon corps est immobile
dans un tas de gaines
attendant que les racines poussent
Un jour desséché
un jour épanoui
les deux sont des expériences lumineuses.
39.
Je range cinq cailloux
Je dessine des ondes tout autour
Aujourd'hui je réalise
j’avais tort
Des cinq cailloux
des lignes droites rayonnent
Je ne les empilerai pas
l’un sur l'autre
dans mon champ de vision.
40.
La rivière est sèche
nous marchons sur son lit
Si l'eau monte
nous le saurons à temps.
41.
Je dessine au crayon
lignes ténues sur le papier
en bas des feuilles
en haut des fleurs.
42.
Rouge feu
flottant au loin ...
flotte…
45.
Un bol d'eau, je suis blanc
le sol d’un vieux jaune
Le champ devant
et la cloche
jaune foncée
Le chat tigré dans la cour
a des taches blanches sur le dos
Je sonne la cloche
jaune
le blanc se propage
Le chat marche doucement
ébrouant la lumière du soleil
Il marche jusqu'à
n’être qu’un point blanc.

Silence
A thousand dharmas come back to one, where does one go?
A ZEN KOAN
1.
A page
Opens territories of
letters
Forests and mountains
Rivers and lakes
Roads of letters
Holding the book
I
I am a letter
The letter strokes are
my rhythmic breath
My upturning palms
My slash of black hair
My yellow skin
The light on the page
Reduces the world
And me
Into one.
2.
A small stream in the
mountain
Flows steadily
Into a lake without a
sound
Fish swim
Water remains at the
same level
A kingfisher
Still perches
On a nearby tree top
At the throat of the
outpouring stream
Waves gently expand in
circles
And fade
The lake bottom is
infinitely silent
As the mountain moves
with the water.
3.
A stream of light is
surrounding
Me
At the foot of the altar
tower
Drawing near to my
father’s face
(He was 3 years gone)
Drawing near to my
grandmother’s face
(She was 27 years gone)
My father has recovered
from hand trembles
My grandmother no longer stoops
Each of them teaches me
how to remember
A way to forget
I am transparent
As I leave
Holding in my hand
A flower.
4.
A table with four legs
A flat surface
Place it on waves
The ground doesn’t yield
It flies like fog
Is light as a cloud
Rustles like leaves
I close my eyes
The teacher is grading
Giving me two points…
ten points…
Even a zero
On top of my head.
5.
An egg
Warm under
Its brooding mother’s
Wings
I sleep soundly in the
mountain air
Tree shades
Water that pounds rice
Deer footsteps
Lying inside the
eggshell
I gradually take the
form of ants
Fowl and poultry
Like so many animals
I grow up on
Dreams of early sunlight
Of rains
Of stars falling
Down to earth
Shaking off the shell of
light
I open my eyes and stand
up.
6.
A black fruit
Ripened high in the sky
Where lotuses
And chrysanthemums are
blooming
My hair and shoulders
are white
My stalk
Begins to turn yellow
Black areas are
shrinking
Vanishing quickly
A hand
Buries me in a pit
Needing no water
I grow as a sapling in the desert.
7.
Between the circle of
light around me
And the void of darkness
Stands a wall of nepal
paper
I contemplate
Making a drawing on it
From darkness
Someone is writing on
one side of the paper
A name for my drawing.
8.
Bird calls, a dream,
falling drops of water…
Draw vertical lines
A voice, sadness,
kisses…
Draw horizontal lines
The intersecting lines
Are sparkles of light
Which show you the way
sometimes
And blind you other
times
I settle down
To pull the lines
further apart.
9.
I open my chakras*
Light does not fill up
my body
Darkness still centers
on my forehead
And my back
I open my eyes to watch
a burning fire
Fire is the gate
For one to leave
concealment and darkness
To return to a cool
place
I watch!
I swallow the fire with
my eyes
I destroy concealment
and darkness
With my eyes.
_________
* Energy points inside human bodies, according to Hindu and tantric
traditions.
10.
The laughing doves
Trapped in a net
Next to a decoy bird
Their eyes are sewn shut
But they are never in
pain!
They cry in the hands of
a bird-killer
Incarcerated in prison
cells
They are plucked and
bled
But they are never in
pain!
They are roasted golden
Inside a greasy pan
But they are never in
pain!
My thoughts turn
incoherent
I open my eyes to watch
the field just harvested
See laughing doves
collecting rice
They come in flocks
Collecting rice.
11.
I am a ceramic vase
opening its mouth
To the outside world
Inside me
A garden is incubating
seedlings
Early sunlight soaking
Each plant root
On a river bank
My feet touch the tide
ebbing beneath
On a rising tide
Fish and shrimps just
let go
Without swimming
A boat floats with no
one paddling
I cannot sit for long
Water tapping on the
sides of this boat
Birds calling from high
above
Someone knocks hard
On the side of the vase.
12.
A spider web is spun
Between two ends of
thunder
Within a bullet’s echo
An electric hammer’s
thud
A train’s screeching
jolt
The sound of an asteroid
falling on earth
A shiny thread is
stretched out
In countless fleeting
Disappearing sounds
Only the spider turns
back
And spins more threads.
13.
Dawn’s light is thrown
across my chest
When I begin to meditate
One strip of sunlight is
the gate
To begin a journey
I silently become sand
or a stone
Inane in weather
And night’s pristine
darkness
No longer dry
No longer sharp
I am equal to
And mixing into the
world
As I return after a long
journey
That strip of sunlight
is still there.
14.
A bridge spanning two
riverbanks
With a steel frame
Is built with dark
bricks
Their insides remain red
through many years
When bricks are laid
next to each other
The road is smooth
With heavy human
footsteps
Or sounds of animals’
hooves
The bridge begins to
vibrate
I sit in lotus position*
Under the bridge the
water is still
I know the current is
still flowing.
__________
* A cross-legged sitting position in which the feet are placed on opposing
thighs.
15.
A black bird sinks in
A black roof
A black ground
And colorless light
All is whitening like
milk.
I am burning like a tree
trunk
Hollowed out by insects
The bird is wounded
The ground is convulsing
All vegetation is
poisoned
I gather light
And collect tears
To stream through our
wounds
All is whitening like
milk.
16.
I am in zazen next to a
flower
All fragrance lingers
Near the ground
The sky turns over my
head
I am turning into an
obstacle
Things around me growing
Getting older
The flower in the middle
Erects a glass post
Marking today
Now
Past
And future
Look at each other from
two sides
The flower represents
Buddha’s lips.
17.
A grandiose drop of
water
Lying in a deep well
Concerto No. 1 in D
minor by J.S. Bach
Falls into the well
Small drops of water
Carry green light
The green of rice
seedlings
Seeds
Banana buds
A field of young
mulberry
It’s the season of
chlorophyll
Born out of water drops
In the shape of green
eggs
Swelling
Overflowing the ground.
18.
Through the candle
And into another realm
Eyes open
In the shadow of a wall
I am at the crossroads
Many systems of
reference
Many souls animate
Inanimate
And unnamed
The more awareness is
filled with sound
And color perceptions
The more one is still
And free in all things
19.
Light
Splits a tree trunk
Yellow on one side
Dark purple on the other
Bark is smooth on one
side
Rough on the other
Sap is different on two
sides
White
Black
I close my eyes and
breathe
The tree is growing
Both halves of the tree
have the same color flowers
Blooming in crowds
before a hatchet blade of light.
20.
A glass of water
Is placed in front of
the candle
Colorless light
Dropped from above
Shows the way for water
to settle
The more transparent I
become
Spike trap
Black arrows
Escape
From my soles and palms.
21.
I am lost in the world
of toys
Boy and girl dolls
Smile next to a fish
made of wool
A wooden rooster
Stands firmly on one
foot
A paper dolphin
Carries a tiny globe on
its head
All are immobile
In nothingness
The halos of dreams
Of humanities’ children
Those who are moving
In order to be natural,
equal, innocent
I am made of wool,
paper, wood…
22.
Sounds of wind chimes
Fall in the night as
sparkling seeds
I hardly realize
Tree trunks have just
grown
The garden has shrunk
into an arm’s embrace
Another lullaby of
chimes
I sit up
Drop a coop around me to
stop the wind
And a myriad of sounds
The chimes are strung
On top of the sky.
23.
Only in silence I
realize
That I am in zazen with
many others
Mixing auras
From other spaces
I heal my own wounds
But others
Are treating unknown
patients
The patients don’t know
They are going through
auras.
24.
Two objects on the table
A clock
A pebble paperweight
I cannot read a book
Or think through any
subject
My mind is vague
As I stare at each
object a long time
I turn one of them
Adjust the space between
I see a single trail of
light
Between the clock and
the pebble.
25.
One by one
A flower’s petals fall
Fragrance
Is light and pure
I shut the door tight
Not letting anyone in
Nor slanting sunlight
Nor blowing wind
Where Buddha has just
appeared
Within the fleeting
space
Between the receptacle
and the ground.
26.
The ring-ouzel which
just flew away
Has perfect color
harmony
A gray bird
Two white stripes on its
cheeks
One black spot from
breast to chin
I draw a picture of the
bird
And color patiently
Not like that!
Still not like that!
I keep sitting here
Looking at the flying
birds
And coloring.
27.
My body blends into
darkness
Only my hands remain
alight
My palms turn up
Like two lake surfaces
Two open bowls
Two winter caves
The deep pits of two
stars
The mouths of two fish…
One cannot find in the
universe
Pairs
Like two hands
Joining
Because each star, bowl
Fish, cave, lake…
Connects to a separate
darkness.
28.
At dusk
Or probably at dawn
An albatross
Lands on a barrier pike
Seen from afar it is
only black
Like a paper cut
painting
Or a single block statue
with stand
The sea is a calm brown
I focus my thoughts
On walking on water
Without leaving any
footprints
Behind me
The bird no longer
flies.
29.
On the way to shore
Lies a sand plot
Oyster shells
Bow in the lapping waves
Shapes of seagulls
flying
Or just landing on the
horizon
Are like contours
Of a person lying face
down
Wind blowing from the
sea
Sticks me to my shirt
Then inflates the fabric
My body inside
Is the core
The bitter seed
Of a half ripe fruit.
30.
A garden
A ditch
A quiet and transparent
Space
A butterfly
Red and lonely
Glides
And flutters
It lands on a tree top
No
It is not lonely
The butterfly is a
flower
From this space, this
ditch, and this garden…
It lands
To shut down time
For the flower to become
a bud.
31.
The sky is like a bow
I am in the middle of it
Wind howls
From the top of my head
Through my soles
I breathe earth’s
generous air
Into the deep sea
I stretch the bow
For trees to press
against mountainous profiles
To compress dawn into
night
Like a pine tree
Clutching earth
Stretches its branches
to the sky
My heart aimed at the
target
Energy concentrated in
my belly
I release the bow
The arrow and I fly
parallel to the earth’s surface.
32.
A stone slab emerges
Its chunk still buried
in a pit
A bird
The sky hides its flight
path
Fire
Burns in longing eyes
A martial artist draws
his sword
When the bird finishes
its sketch on sky
Earth’s soul permeates
the stone slab
Humans turn into coal by
their longing.
33.
My father’s hand
Is in my shadow
While I am mixing tea
Water is boiling
Steaming the kitchen
Tea leaves soaked in
earthenware pot
I serve tea to my father
The deep tea fragrance
is blending
With the aglaia
fragrance from the garden
A whiff of my father’s
sweat
Holding the earthenware
cup
My father’s hand dry and
rough
Inside my palms.
34.
New day on the coast
The waves have receded
Leaving behind a clean
stone slab
Somebody has come to
step
And sit on it
Bird feces
And dust settling on it
At night
Water rises again and
washes it
The sea
Is patient
In years.
35.
The wind upon leaving
Imprisoned me here
With a leaf
Looking at the door
frame and window bars
I know I cannot break
The leaf’s veins
If only its yellow spots
Spread out fast
But moisture is
breathing
Into green chlorophyll
areas
One should not overreact
In spring.
36.
I am a trinket
Made of metal bars
Bent and attached
With paper fastened to
my head
Just out of love
Or anger
The alloy has been bent
Last night in a dream
That trinket
Grew up fast
Seed to leaf.
37.
I get lost in a fabric
store
Rolls of fabrics piled
up like logs
I use adeptness to sneak
through
This is deep brown
Blue
That is orange
Delicate white
Bordeaux red…
Any color
Is more than enough
For one person to wear
throughout his life
I walk
Holding a glass of water
My only concern is
Spilling on any step
38.
I am vegetation
Light from my previous
life
Draws on a white canvas
My body is immobilized
In a group of sheaths
Waiting for roots to
penetrate from either side
Once withering
Once thriving
Both are common
experiences in this light.
39.
I stack up five pebbles
And draw circles of
waves around them
Today I realize
I was wrong
From the five pebbles
Straight lines are
radiating
I will not stack
Things upon each other
any more
In my field of vision.
40.
The river runs dry
We walk across its bed
When water rises
We will probably be
notified.
41.
I sketch on paper
Thin pencil lines
Downward strokes make
leaves
Upward ones are flowers.
42.
I sit under the cloak of
Light
At the very bottom
When He walks
His cloak touches me
Sometimes from above
Sometimes from below
I am dyed with light
when waking up
But when sleeping
I leave it up to dreams
There are dreams
Where you cannot find
darkness.
43.
I sit down
And drop flowers on
water
Releasing them
On a surface vast
And clear
Bells
Ring through my body
Into the depth of water
Dong!
I sink
Then emerge again.
44.
On top of the hill
I see inside the ground
A flaming red eye
Looking at the sky
The earth
In the shape of an eye
Flaming red
Floating away…
Floating…
45.
The bowl of water and I
are white
The ground an ancient
yellow
The field in front
And the bell
Dark yellow
The tabby cat in the
yard
Has white patches on its
back
I ring the yellow
Bell
A white color spreads
The cat walks softly
Shaking sunlight all
over the ground
It walks until
it is only a white spot.

Tĩnh lặng
Muôn pháp về
một, một đi về đâu?
CÔNG ÁN THIỀN
1.
Trang sách
Mở mặt đất chữ
Rừng núi
Sông hồ
Những con đường chữ
Nâng cuốn sách
Tôi
Là một chữ
Nét chữ nhịp thở
Bàn tay lật lên
Nét tóc cứng
Da vàng
Ánh sáng trên trang sách
Thu thế giới
Và tôi
Thành một.
2.
Mạch nước nhỏ trong núi
Chảy đều
Xuống lòng hồ không tiếng động
Đàn cá bơi
Mực nước giữ yên
Con chim bói cá vẫn đậu
Trên ngọn cây gần đó
Nơi họng nước đổ xuống
Vòng sóng lan nhẹ
Mờ dần
Đáy hồ lặng im
Núi theo mặt nước chuyển động.
3.
Luồng sáng đang vây
Tôi
Dưới chân ngọn tháp
Ghé sát mặt bố tôi
(Người mất đã 3 năm)
Ghé sát bà nội tôi
(Người mất 27 năm về trước)
Bố tôi đã khỏi bệnh run tay
Bà nội không còn đi còng
Mỗi người dạy tôi cách nhớ
Một cách quên
Tôi trong suốt
Ra đi
Trong tay cầm một bông hoa.
4.
Chiếc bàn bốn chân
Mặt phẳng
Đặt lên sóng
Mặt đất không lún
Bay như sương
Nhẹ như mây
Reo lên như lá
Tôi nhắm mắt
Thầy giáo đang chấm bài
Cho điểm 2… điểm 10…
Cả điểm 0
Trên đỉnh đầu tôi.
5.
Quả trứng
Ấp trong đôi cánh
Của mẹ
Tôi ngủ say trong khí núi
Bóng cây
Nước giã gạo
Tiếng chân hươu nai
Nằm trong vỏ trứng
Tôi dần thành hình kiến
Hình chim chóc, gia cầm
Như bao muông thú
Tôi lớn bằng giấc mơ
Của ánh bình minh
Của cơn mưa
Bầy sao sa
Trái đất
Rũ lớp vỏ ánh sáng
Tôi mở mắt đứng lên.
6.
Trái cây màu đen
Chín từ đỉnh trời
Nơi hoa sen
Hoa cúc đang nở
Tóc và vai tôi màu trắng
Chiếc cuống
Bắt đầu ngả vàng
Màu đen đang co lại
Tan nhanh
Có bàn tay
Chôn tôi xuống hố
Không cần nước
Tôi mọc cây non trên sa mạc.
7.
Giữa quầng sáng quanh tôi
Và khoảng không tối thẳm
Ngăn bằng lớp giấy dó
Tôi quán tưởng
In lên đó hình họa
Từ phía bóng tối
Ai đang viết lên sau mặt giấy
Đặt tên cho bức tranh của tôi.
8.
Tiếng chim, giấc mơ, giọt nước rơi...
Thành đường kẻ dọc
Giọng nói, nỗi buồn, nụ hôn...
Là đường kẻ ngang
Đường kẻ giao nhau
Là đốm sáng
Lúc soi đường
Lúc làm lóa mắt
Tôi tĩnh lặng
Kéo đường kẻ xa nhau.
9.
Mở các luân xa*
Ánh sáng không tràn cơ
thể
Bóng đen còn tụ trên
trán
Và lưng
Mở mắt nhìn lửa cháy
Ngọn lửa là cửa ngõ
Cho ẩn khuất, ám tối
Về nơi mát mẻ
Tôi nhìn!
Nuốt ngọn lửa bằng mắt
Tiêu diệt những ẩn
khuất, ám tối
Bằng ánh mắt.

10.
Những con chim ngói
Mắc bẫy trong tấm lưới
Cạnh chim mồi
Hai mắt bị khâu
Nhưng không hề đau!
Chúng kêu lên trong tay gã sát chim
Bị nhốt vào những gian nhà tù
Bị vặt lông, cắt tiết
Nhưng không hề đau!
Bị quay vàng
Trong chảo mỡ
Nhưng không hề đau!
Tôi bị tạp niệm
Mở mắt nhìn cánh đồng mới gặt
Những con chim ngói đang nhặt thóc
Bay về từng đàn
Nhặt thóc.
11.
12.
Tơ nhện giăng
Hai đầu tiếng sấm
Giữa khoảng khắc tiếng vọng viên đạn
Tiếng búa máy
Đoàn tàu dồn toa
Tiếng thiên thạch rơi vào trái đất
Sợi tơ óng ánh kéo căng
Giữa muôn tiếng động
Tan biến mong manh
Chỉ còn con nhện bình thản quay về
Dệt thêm những đường tơ.
13.
Bình minh vắt ngang ngực
Lúc tôi bắt đầu hành thiền
Dải nắng ấy là cửa ngõ
Khởi đầu cuộc lên đường
Tôi lặng yên làm cát đá
Ngây ngô trong mưa nắng
Bóng đêm trinh bạch
Không khô cứng
Không còn sắc nhọn
Tôi bình đẳng
Hòa trong thế giới
Đi xa trở về
Dải nắng ấy vẫn còn chỗ cũ.
14.
Là chiếc cầu vắt qua đôi
bờ
Thân cốt thép
Được xây bằng gạch
Lòng viên gạch nhiều năm
vẫn hồng
Lát cạnh nhau
Đường đi rất phẳng
Có tiếng chân người
Hay móng chân muông thú
Cây cầu rung lên
Tôi ngồi kiết già*
Dưới chân cầu mặt nước
phẳng lặng
Tôi biết nước vẫn trôi
đi.

Chìm vào cánh chim đen
Mái nhà
Mặt đất đen
Cùng ánh sáng không màu
Tất cả đang trắng ra như
sữa
Tôi nóng một thân cây
sâu đục
Cánh chim bị thương
Lòng đất quặn thắt
Vùng cây cỏ nhiễm độc
Gom ánh sáng
Dồn nước mắt
Chảy qua những vết
thương
Tất cả đang trắng ra như
sữa.
16.
Tọa thiền cạnh bông hoa
Hương thơm ngưng lại
Gần mặt đất
Bầu trời quay trên đầu
Mình thành vật cản
Xung quanh cảnh vật đang
lớn
Đang già
Bông hoa ở giữa
Dựng cột thủy tinh
Làm hôm nay
Bây giờ
Quá khứ
Tương lai
Nhìn nhau hai phía
Cánh hoa tượng hình môi
Đức Phật.
17.
Giọt nước lớn
Nằm trong giếng sâu
Bản Concerto I cung Rê
thứ của J. S. Bach*
Rơi vào lòng giếng
Những hạt nước nhỏ
Mang ánh sáng xanh
Màu xanh lá mạ
Đọt mầm
Nõn chuối
Bãi dâu non
Mùa diệp lục
Sinh từ hạt nước
Hình những quả trứng xanh
Dâng
Tràn lên mặt đất.

18.
Qua ngọn nến
Vào cảnh giới khác
Nhiều con mắt mở
Trong bóng tối bức tường
Tôi ở giữa
Nhiều hệ quy chiếu
Những linh hồn hữu tri
Vô tri
Và chưa được đặt tên
Trí huệ vang âm thanh
Sắc giác
Càng tĩnh lặng
Tự do trong vạn vật
19.
Ánh sáng
Chẻ dọc thân cây
Bên này màu vàng
Nửa kia tím thẫm
Một phía vỏ cây trơn nhẵn
Phía khác xù xì
Nhựa hai bên cũng khác
Trắng
Và đen
Nhắm mắt thở nhẹ
Cây đang lớn
Hai nửa cây cùng một màu hoa
Nở chi chít dọc lưỡi rìu ánh sáng.
20.
Ly nước
Đặt trước ngọn nến
Ánh sáng không màu
Buông trên cao
Soi cho nước lắng xuống
Tôi dần trong lại
Bàn chông đen
Những mũi tên đen
Thoát ra
Từ gan bàn chân, bàn tay.
21.
Lạc vào thế giới đồ chơi
Những cô cậu búp-bê
Mỉm cười bên con cá bằng nỉ
Con gà trống gỗ
Đứng vững trong tư thế một chân
Con cá heo giấy
Đội quả địa cầu bé nhỏ
Tất cả bất động
Trong tính không
Hào quang giấc mơ
Của tuổi thơ nhân loại
Những người đang chuyển động
Được hồn nhiên, bình đẳng, thơ ngây
Tôi bằng nỉ, bằng giấy, bằng gỗ...
22.
Tiếng chuông gió
Rơi trong đêm những hạt sáng
Tôi thoáng biết
Những thân cây vừa nở
Khu vườn hẹp lại trong vòng tay
Hồi chuông nữa vang lên
Tôi ngồi dậy
Rắc quanh tôi chiếc lồng ngăn gió
Ngăn muôn tiếng động
Chuông treo
Trên đỉnh trời.
23.
Tĩnh lặng mới biết
Mình tọa thiền cùng nhiều người khác
Đan hào quang
Từ những không gian khác
Tôi tự chữa lành vết thương
Nhưng người khác
Đang điều trị cho bệnh nhân xa lạ
Những người bệnh không biết
Mình đang đi qua hào quang.
24.
Hai đồ vật trên bàn
Đồng hồ
Viên sỏi chặn giấy
Tôi không thể đọc sách
Không nghĩ trọn một việc
Đầu óc mông lung
Nhìn rất lâu từng đồ vật
Tôi xoay một trong hai
Đặt lại khoảng cách
Thấy vệt sáng duy nhất
Giữa đồng hồ và viên sỏi.
25.
Từng cánh hoa
Rơi xuống
Hương thơm
Nhẹ tinh khôi
Đóng kín cửa phòng
Không cho ai vào
Không cho nắng xiên
Không gió thổi
Nơi Đức Phật vừa hiện
Trong khoảng cách mong manh
Giữa đài hoa và mặt đất.
26.
Con khướu vừa bay
Hòa sắc hoàn hảo
Nó màu xám
Vệt trắng hai bên má
Ức và cằm loang đen
Tôi họa lại hình chim
Nhẫn nại tô màu
Không phải thế!
Mãi không phải thế!
Tôi ngồi lại nơi đây
Nhìn chim bay
Và tô màu.
27.
Cơ thể tôi lẫn vào bóng tối
Chỉ sáng đôi bàn tay
Lòng tay lật lên
Tựa hai mặt hồ
Hai chiếc bát để ngửa
Hai cửa hang mùa đông
Hố trũng hai ngôi sao
Miệng hai con cá...
Không thể tìm trong vũ trụ
Những cặp song trùng
Tựa đôi bàn tay
Khép lại
Bởi mỗi ngôi sao, chiếc bát
Con cá, hang sâu, hồ nước...
Nối với từng bóng tối khác nhau.
28.
Lúc hoàng hôn
Có thể hừng đông
Con chim biển
Đậu trên chiếc cọc chắn sóng
Nhìn xa chỉ một màu đen
Tựa bức tranh cắt giấy
Hay tượng đài liền bệ
Mặt biển lặng phắc màu nâu
Tôi quán tưởng
Mình đi trên biển
Không để lại dấu chân
Sau lưng tôi
Con chim không bay nữa.
29.
Lối lên bờ
Doi cát
Những vỏ sò
Cúi đầu trong sóng vỗ
Dáng hải âu bay
Hay vừa đậu
Tựa chân trời gợn tấm lưng
Người nằm sấp
Gió biển thổi
Dính tôi vào vạt áo
Rồi căng phồng
Cơ thể tôi ở giữa
Là chiếc lõi
Hạt đắng
Của một trái ương.
30.
Vườn cây
Dòng mương
Khoảng không lặng im
Trong suốt
Con bướm màu đỏ
Lạc lõng
Bay tung tăng
La đà
Đậu xuống đỉnh cây
Không
Nó không lạc lõng
Cánh bướm là bông hoa
Của khoảng không, dòng mương, vườn cây...
Đậu xuống
Khép lại thời gian
Cho bông hoa thành nụ.
31.
Bầu trời cánh cung
Tôi ở giữa
Gió hú
Từ đỉnh đầu
Xuyên qua bàn chân
Khoan hòa khí đất
Tôi thở sâu lòng biển
Giương cánh cung
Cho cây lá ép vào dáng núi
Nén chặt bình minh vào đêm
Tựa cây
tùng
Bám đất
Vươn cành lên bầu trời
Tâm hướng đích
Nén khí xuống đan điền
Buông cung
Tôi và mũi tên bay song song mặt đất.
32.
Một phiến đá nhô lên
Thân vùi trong hố
Cánh chim
Bầu trời cất giấu đường bay
Lửa
Sáng lên mắt nhớ
Võ sỹ rút kiếm khỏi vỏ
Khi cánh chim vẽ hết bầu trời
Lòng đất thấm sâu phiến đá
Người biến thành than khi nhớ nhung.
33.
Bàn tay cha
Trong bóng dáng
Tôi đang pha trà
Nước sôi
Khói bếp
Cọng trà ngấm trong ấm sành
Dâng cha
Hương trà thơm đậm
Hương hoa ngâu ngoài vườn
Mồ hôi cha bay ngang
Nâng chén sành
Tay cha khô ráp
Trong lòng tay tôi.
34.
Ngày mới ven biển
Sóng rút đi
Để lại phiến đá sạch
Ai đến ngồi
Bước lên
Cùng phân chim
Cát bụi tấp vào
Đêm về
Nước lại dâng lên rửa sạch
Biển
Nhẫn nại như vậy
Nhiều năm.
35.
Gió ra đi
Giam tôi ở đây
Bằng chiếc lá
Nhìn khung cửa và chắn
song
Tôi biết không thể bẻ
gãy
Những đường gân lá
Chỉ mong những đốm vàng
Trên đó lan nhanh
Nhưng hơi ẩm đang phà
hơi
Vào khoảng xanh diệp lục
Mình không manh động
Vào mùa xuân.
36.
Tôi làm vật trang trí
Bằng thanh sắt kết lại
Uốn cong
Trên đầu đính từng mẩu giấy
Chỉ vì yêu
Hay giận
Mà uốn cong
Đêm qua trong giấc mơ
Vật trang trí ấy
Lớn nhanh như một lá mầm.
37.
Lạc vào cửa hàng bán vải
Nhiều cuộn chồng lên như đống gỗ
Phải khôn khéo mới len
qua
Đây màu nâu trầm
Xanh dương
Kia màu da cam
Trắng nõn
Đỏ boóc – đô...
Màu nào
Một người
Cũng mặc cả đời không hết
Tôi đi
Tay cầm ly nước
Chỉ lo
Lỡ làm đổ lên cuộn vải nào.
38.
Tôi là cây cỏ
Ánh sáng kiếp trước
Vẽ trên toan trắng
Thân bất động
Trong tầng bẹ lá
Chờ sợi rễ đâm ngang
Từng lụi tàn
Từng tươi tốt
Lẽ thường trong ánh sáng này.
39.
Tôi chồng năm hòn cuội
Vẽ xung quanh những vòng sóng
Hôm nay tôi biết
Mình đã nhầm
Từ năm hòn cuội
Đang mở ra những đường thẳng tắp
Tôi sẽ không xếp
Bất kỳ vật gì chồng lên nhau nữa
Trong tầm nhìn.
40.
Nước kiệt
Mình đi qua lòng sông
Bao giờ nước lên
Chắc sẽ được báo trước.
41.
Phác lên giấy
Từng nét chì mảnh
Nét rủ xuống làm lá
Đưa lên là hoa.
42.
Tôi ngồi dưới vạt áo Ánh sáng
Nơi tận cùng
Người bước đi
Vạt áo chạm tôi
Lúc trên cao
Lúc thấp
Tôi nhuộm sáng khi tỉnh thức
Còn khi ngủ
Phó mặc giấc mơ
Có giấc mơ
Không tìm thấy bóng tối.
43.
Tôi ngồi
Thả bông hoa trên nước
Buông
Trên mặt phẳng rộng
Và trong
Tiếng chuông
Qua thân thể tôi
Vào đáy nước
Boong!
Tôi chìm
Lại nổi lên.
44.
Từ đỉnh đồi
Thấy trong đất
Một con mắt đỏ rực
Nhìn trời
Trái đất
Hình con mắt
Đỏ rực
Trôi đi...
Trôi...
45.
Bát nước và tôi màu trắng
Mặt đất ngả vàng
Cánh đồng phía trước
Cùng chiếc chuông
Vàng sậm
Con mèo mướp giữa sân
Lưng và đỉnh đầu khoang trắng
Tôi thỉnh chuông
Màu vàng
Màu trắng lan đi
Con mèo thong thả bước
Rũ nắng lên mặt đất
Nó đi cho tới khi
Chỉ còn một đốm trắng.
